How we communicate in group project and have schedule for workflow

For our group project we ussually communicate on whatsapp and we use trello to make new task and sprints which is basically deadlines for our next tasks that needs to be done and we also use teams to upload files and meetings

On the right you cans see a photo of the trello board most recent and so far every task we currently have is done and you can see we have also splitted the tasked in the group.

Down here you can see a photo of teams files structred we upload most our project in teams like that so that the client can also have access to them and keep up to dated with our work.

Moodboards for our brand guide Tera

After deciding the stylescape we decided that everyone of us should make a moodboard of our brand concept the idea of using a moodboard was that to help us visualize and communicate our ideas more effectively together.

On the right you can see my moodboard idea that I made , the idea behind this was that I was thinking of the Tera name and roots vibe, thinking on the mellow deep sense of earthy vibe that it can give us.

Here you can see a picture and a moodboard of our culture Curacao and next to it you see a moodboard showcasing vibrant color, basically we wanted to capture our culture bright and vibrant colour and match it with our brand Tera.

Here you can see a moodboard of a groupmember of ours this one give out a more earthy grounded vibe.

ultimately we as a group decided to choose this moodboard because it was the one who gave the most accurate look that we were looking for in our brand color.

Photoshooting in pixel playground

pixel playground is a lab in our school where you can do some advanced videoclip or photoshooting. After making moodboards , we had to present ourselves in our brand guide so far and we come up with an idea to do photoshoot in pixel playground.

On the right you can see a picture of me with a red background and the idea of the colored background was to basically give everyone in the group an color identity and I chose red and did a photoshoot with it.

At first we got inspired by this poster of teh gorillaz how each person has their own background color and we wanted to do something similair to that.

Here you can see a bunch of photos that me and my groupmates were experimenting with.

It was quite a fun and unique experience for me personally because I have never done any photoshoot before and this was a great opportunity to learn and experiment creative ideas for our branding.

Introduction project Zandloper

Our group met with the client through a meeting on teams and the client introduce himself to us.

He told us basic information about the project and his expectations. he is a rapper and he wants a to record a videoclip using unreal engine and his theme is called zandloper which is hourglass in english and the concept is based on a desert and his idea concept is based on time and choices.

He wants to use the studio in our school which is called Pixel Playground which is a lab where you can make photo or video production. Down here you can see an example somwhat what he wants to do with him.

Here u can see his summary of his project which is a videoclip for his upcoming music and making a desert theme in unreal engine while keeping the focus on time and choices.

Moodboards for project Zandloper

first thing we had to do with the client was that every one of us had to make a moodboard of our own concept of an desert area and vibe.

On the right you can see my moodboard I used AI to generate hourglass in a evening and night setting and also I got inspired by a video game called halo and showcasing its trailer.

All of us made our own moodboard showcasing our vision and style that we had in mind and down here you can see each moodboards.

Working with client on his storyboard for his videoclip

me and my groupmate went to tilburg to the client and that day we worked a little on his storyboard for his videoclip. On the right you can see a photo of the storyboard and our hands pointing out and discussing about the storyboard.

We brainstormed ideas and worked on the storyboard by creating sketches. The client wants basically a few shot of him close while his rapping , also shots walking in the dessert and also shots of his statue. Down here you can see a photo me and a notehr person discussing the storyboard.

On this sketch you can see he wants a close up scene while he is rapping about his feelings of being lost having pressure of time and choices.

On this sketch you can see him facing his statue from a very close distance meaning he decide to face and accept choices of his past.

this was his idea for storyboard in a nutshell and so far working and brainstorming on a concepts like this was very fun because it allows me to experiment and use imagination and fantasy on a concept.

Figma for working on our project

On most of our ideas for the brand guide we was making the concepts in figma together in a team in the same space that way we can easily collaborate and create ideas together

for example on the right here you can find a figma link with a lot of content that we worked for example logo's moodboards, stylescapes etc. you use the dropdown menu on the left up of the figma to change between pages.

Reflection so far on working with client and with a group

I really enjoyed working and comunnicating with client so far , we had a great communication and pretty much always was working according to meeting schedules, for example every tuesday we would have a meeting in teams and tlak about our progress so far keeping up to date.

also working in a group is also fun because we can brainstorm ideas together and share different perspectives on a concept which is always good to have when working on a project.

Oh and the photo on the right is just a screenshot from microsoft wallpaper nothing related to the project coincidentilly
